It's been a pretty busy week here at ABoF, with new releases from Glossii, ST. MARTiiNS, Vive La Rose and The Memoirs

Experience the bristling soundscapes of Glossii on vibrant new single Runaway Rockaway!

South London's Glossii have unveiled their swaggering new single Runaway Rockaway. Fusing a multitude of genres spanning post-punk, alt.rock, disco punk and garage punk, it embodies the rebellious zeitgeist of '90s and early '00s female fronted rock bands. Glossii will support the release with a live performance at DIY Presents Big Indie Big Nights at Two Tribes Brewing on September 12th, with free tickets available on the Eventbrite website.

Dundee's ST.MARTiiNS mesmerise in brand new video!

Dundee’s finest ST. MARTiiNS have now shared the video for their beguiling new single ur so pretty, out now via Big Indie Records. Last month, the duo made the mammoth trip from their hometown to the Big Smoke for their first live show in London. The video shows off their intricate but funky sound, while giving a preview of the band’s fuller live presence.

Vive La Rose shares mesmerising new single Schiehallion!

Edinburgh's David Luximon-Herbert - aka Vive La Rose - returns with his captivating new album For She Who Hangs The Moon. Taken from the album is latest single Schiehallion, which glistens with a truly mesmerising musicality, whilst Luximon-Herbert’s grit-fuelled vocal is able to warms your soul with its heartwarming lyrics.

The Memoirs exhibit their emotive, cascading alt.rock sound on new single Fear On The Rise!

Following hot on the heels of the recently released debut single Means To An End, Nottingham alt.rock five-piece The Memoirs return with their evocative new single Fear On The Rise. Combining the anthemic melodies of Kings of Leon with the art rock stylings of British Sea Power and an atmospheric post-punk revival sound made famous by likes of Editors, The Memoirs have once again showcased their ability to write emotive, cascading rock songs, marking them out as ones to watch.
