To celebrate the release of his latest cut Animal, alt-folk troubadour Alex Bayly has now shared the stunning new video for the single, out now.

Talking about the video, Alex explains, "I’ve teamed up with my good friend Curragh Treanor to deliver what I believe is one of my most accomplished audio/visual pieces. I knew Curragh had been working on coding visual in his spare time and thought the cyclical nature of Animal would be well suited to some moving kaleidoscopic shapes. He fully surpassed my expectations and has delivered a monochrome masterpiece incredibly sensitive to the 'nature' of the song. My debut album Ley Lines is about looking for patterns in nature where perhaps there are none, and I feel Curragh has developed that theme brilliantly."

Indie-electro artist DYVR returns with another ethereal ear worm to sweep you off your feet. Louder is out now via Veta Records.

Combining subtle guitar twangs with haunting electronic soundscapes, Louder once again showcases DYVR’s unique ability to defy genre. His distinctive falsetto soars effortlessly over the majestic musicality, feeling instantly reminiscent of the likes of Sampha or James Blake. Known for writing poignant lyrics with a powerful message, with Louder, DYVR looks at the queer community and the sexual pressures that can occur within it. DYVR elaborates, "a lot of the community is under pressure to be sexually promiscuous. Sex is often treated transactionally and short term validation is a currency to be traded. I'm a queer person in a non-monogamous relationship, and it's amazing to me how often I have conversations with people in the LGBTQ+ community who feel as though they are somehow betraying their 'different-ness' by wanting certain more traditional things from their romantic lives. Louder is about how we trivialise connections with people in order to maintain our queer identity”.
