Pretty Fierce

British girl group Pretty Fierce prepare to take the world by storm with the release of their sun-kissed debut single Ready For Me, due for release on 20th May 2022 via MackLife Records.

Combining R&B with pop-tinged sensibilities, Ready For Me is the perfect soundtrack for the summer. Talking about the single, vocalist and rapper Katrina-Marie Howson elaborates, “Ready For Me is all about loving yourself, realising your worth and dusting yourself off after a breakup/experience you've had with someone. It can be about any type of relationship and can relate to EVERYBODY. Whether you're a young girl with a high school crush, or a grown woman who is feeling herself. We are all about inclusivity, and this is a feel good, empowering anthem. The song really takes the audience on a self-love journey and we want people to feel confident after listening to it.”

Pretty Fierce consists of Katrina-Marie, Georgie Ryan (vocals), Ayanda Mthethwa (vocals) and Macey Pick (vocals). The group first formed in Sheffield, when Georgie and Katrina met at an audition, and throughout the process found Ayanda and Macey. Throughout the pandemic, the girls have been writing and recording, creating catchy, memorable lyrics and unforgettable hooks. Influenced by pop, hip-hop, R&B, dance, and country music, Pretty Fierce are four girls with attitude and determination to bring their own unique sound, whilst following in the footsteps of girl groups who have already paved the way. Ready For Me was recorded at MackLife and Metropolis Studios and will be released via MackLife Records, an imprint owned by multi-platinum recording artist Mark Morrison.
