Singer-songwriter Millar Jukes prepares to release his most poignant single to date. Home is out on 4th December 2020.

Combining Americana, country and blues-tinged sensibilities, Millar Jukes proves he’s a force to be reckon with and not one to be pigeon-holed. Home is oozing with emotion from the offset as Jukes’ rich, soulful vocal tone soars effortlessly over gentle guitar twangs and rollocking drum beats, creating a sound that is undeniably moving as a result. Fans of the likes of Ray LaMontagne and Dawes will feel at home here. Talking about the single, Jukes explains, “its about feeling lost in life and feeling heavy with anxiety as your life hasn’t turned out the way you wanted it to until you find that one person who picks you up and makes life worth living.”

Millar Jukes is originally from Scotland but now resides in Melbourne, Australia. His last two singles - Fire and Fangs - have already gained over 100,000 streams on Spotify and Home looks set to follow suit. Whilst 2020 has temporarily halted Jukes’ dynamic live performances with his six-piece backing band, he has spent the last eighteen months recording his dazzling debut album with Lachlan Bryan and Damien Cafarella, which you can expect to hear in early 2021.
