Five-piece Scottish band Mark Sharp & The Bicycle Thieves are excited to share their anthemic new single, Moonshine, due for release on 8th November 2019.

Hailing from the burgeoning scene of Scotland’s West Lothian, Mark Sharp & The Bicycle Thieves have been making a name fro themselves due to their raucous live performances, leading to burgeoning shows at King Tuts and G2 in Glasgow as well as selling out The Garage (Attic) in less than five hours.

Combining indie rock melodies and pounding dance beats with upbeat melodies and stirring choruses, Mark Sharp & The Bicycle Thieves have created an eclectic brand of indie dance music favourably recalling artists such as Friendly Fires, Foals and Klaxons.

Moonshine is their latest offering with the band yet again producing synth soundscapes, tropical-like beats, buoyant harmonised vocals and swaggering baselines. The track is another example of a band on the rise, illustrating why they’ve already supported Kyle Falconer and performed with Lewis Capaldi at Edinburgh’s Summer Sessions.

Following on from their previous single, the popular ’Tippy Toes’, Moonshine will round off what has been a successful year for the band, and precede a headline show at the 600 capacity Saint Luke’s venue in Glasgow on 28th December.

Moonshine is due for release on 8th November 2019.
