Little Suspicions

Emerging indie-rock quartet Little Suspicions prepare to release their symphonic debut, Wasting All My Time, on 16th October 2020.

Reminiscent of the likes of The Last Shadow Puppets, Little Suspicions combine sweeping guitars with euphoric melodies and tranquil harmonies in order to create a sound that is undeniably charming. Lead singer Moritz Meyes’ distinctively colloquial vocal style compliments the poignant lyricism effortlessly, channeling the likes of Alex Turner and Scott Walker as a result. Talking about the single, the band elaborate, “it's about trying to pursue people who lead you on, so you hang onto their every word and wait around for them. All the time you think it’s a goer but they just parr you off and you’re basically just an ego boost.”

Little Suspicions originally formed in Tonbridge, where Conor Toner (guitar) and Joey Lyon (drums) worked at a school. In 2020, they were joined by Moritz and Craig Barden (bass), completing the line up. With the release of Wasting All My Time, Little Suspicions intend to captivate listeners wholeheartedly with their expansive blend of refined indie-rock.

Wasting All My Time is out on 16th October 2020.
