Alt-pop artist Lena Hessels returns with the release of her vibrant new single pop!!, out on 25th November 2022.

Combining woozy electronics and uplifting hooks with Lena’s warm, sensual vocals, pop!! is an instantly addictive slice of celestial electro-pop. Fans of the likes of Lorde and Sky Ferreira will feel at home here. Talking about the single, Lena explains, “it’s a love song about the safety and simplicity of having a relationship with someone. I think falling in love makes the rest of the world feel more distant but it doesn’t matter because you’re just focussed on this person. It’s a simple moment in time, easy, logical. I wanted this song to feel safe, warm, happy and fuzzy - like that moment in time”.

Lena grew up in the midst of a lot of different music - being the daughter of Terrie Hessels (The Ex). Since then, Lena has taken her time to find her own sound; fusing the experimental side of her family with her love of pop music. Lena has already received praise from the likes of Lock Magazine, Beats Per Minute, and Killing Moon, as well as being featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday NL, A Shot of Indie and Equal Netherlands playlists to name a few.
