Dream-pop quartet Kidsmoke return with the release of their infectiously uplifting new single She Takes You Under, out now via Big Indie Records.

Known for their trademark ability to write sweet and sunny hooks, She Takes You Under is no exception. The single is filled with sparkling synths, driving beats and shimmering harmonies, creating a sound akin to the likes of Sunflower Bean or Bombay Bicycle Club’s pastoral pop soundscapes. She Takes You Under once again showcases Kidsmoke’s capability to create crisp, shoegaze-tinged pop that can transport you straight into the sunshine.

The Wrexham four-piece are Lance (Vocals/Guitar), James (Bass/Vocals), Sophie (Guitar/Vocals) and Ash (Drums), who have already made a name for themselves in their native North Wales. They have also already received recognition from across the pond, having played at SXSW earlier this year and their previous single Passenger making it onto the esteemed NPR Austin 100 list. The have also received supported from The Line of Best Fit, Earmilk, Indie Shuffle and The Sunday Times, as well as BBC 6Music’s Steve Lamacq and BBC Radio Wales’ Adam Walton to name a few. They also have a sync-feature on Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror series under their belts, as well also supporting Supergrass’ Gaz Coombes previously.
