David Tomaszewski
French digital artist and director David Tomaszewski has kept himself busy during lockdown with the making of an innovative new music video for French artist TESSÆ, out now.
Filmed simply with Zoom and David’s iPhone, David has managed to create an incredibly dynamic new video, adding to his already impressive portfolio. Talking about the video, David explains, “I shot some images during a Locked down London, on my bicycle, with my iPhone, and I contacted several Drone Operators in Paris, Miami and India from places I had found on Google. For TESSÆ’s shots, I directed her on Zoom, she filmed herself on a blue backdrop at her home in Marseille. The rest of it is 4 weeks of VFX post-production from my flat in Notting Hill”.
David first started making movies at the age of fourteen, and won the George Lucas Award in California when he was just seventeen. David has since gone on to direct music videos for the likes of Gims, Sia and Orelsan and also won Best VFX at the virtual Berlin Music Video Awards this year. With his latest collaboration with TESSÆ and numerous other exciting projects on the horizon, David hopes to gain further support for his inventive take on directing.
TESSÆ’s Bling is out now.
