Darling Darling prepares to release his vibrant new single Cut To The Chaser, on 30th September 2021.

Combining indie, electronic and psychedelic sensibilities, Cut To The Chaser is toe-tappingly infectious from the offset. Channeling the likes of Superfood and Sundara Karma, woozy synths are met with jangling guitar twangs, creating a sound that is undeniably festival ready as a result. Talking about the single, Matt explains, “have you ever met someone who is a breath of fresh air? Someone who is a fresh set of tonic to the mundane and you want it as a chaser to every bad memory you’ve ever had? Well that’s what this song is about. That exact moment where you get the buzz of something new. The feel of something new. The taste of something new. And though it may not last forever, it helps you live in the here and now.”

Darling Darling is the brainchild of Southern-based musician Matt Bisgrove. Forming fully in 2020 in the living room / home studio of a Southampton flat, Darling Darling exists somewhere in-between 60s R&B and 70s baroque-pop, creating music that is both smoothly sardonic and enthusiastically empathetic as a result. Previous supporters include So Young Magazine, Indie Central Music and BBC Introducing Solent to name a few.

Cut To The Chaser is out on 30th September 2021.
