Castells
“…guitar-driven indie, will have you head over heels.” - Clout Magazine
The release of single ‘Little Heart’, at the tail end of 2021, was the culmination of a year where Castells began to make a name for themselves in their own right.
Having been an integral part of a scene that saw friends Luna Bay, Spinn and Youth Killed It step into the mainstream, Castells were inspired. A flurry of single releases concluded with the band’s debut EP, ‘Viola’. Their anthemic mix of pop, rock and indie attracted support far and wide from Gemma Bradley’s BBC Introducing show on Radio 1, Abbie McCarthy on BBC Radio Kent and Clout Magazine, to Italy’s Nicorola and New York’s Come Here Floyd.
With 2022 well and truly underway, Castells are delighted to announce their latest single, Do It All Again. Written alongside Luna Bay’s Connor O’Mara, Do It All Again is characterised by euphoric choruses and bittersweet verses. The single finds the four-piece reaching for the stars, creating a rousing sound that wouldn’t be out of place soaring around arenas country-wide.
Comprised of Connor Crooks (vocals, guitar), Robert Castelino (guitar), Matt Chittenden (bass) and Marc Smith (drums), Castells are determined to continue their ascent in 2022 with the aim of releasing a series of singles as well as getting back on the road, eager to share their electric live sound with UK audiences.
Do It All Again is out on 16th February 2022.
