The Memoirs

Nottingham alt.rock five-piece, The Memoirs, unveil their latest guitar-fuelled single, Fear On The Rise, out now via Strataville.

Following hot on the heels of the recently released debut single Means To An End, Fear On The Rise is a song about finding it difficult to relate to the world around you, but recognising that it is in fact you who needs to grow as a person.

Combining the anthemic melodies of Kings of Leon with the art rock stylings of British Sea Power and an atmospheric post-punk revival sound made famous by likes of Editors, The Memoirs have once again showcased their ability to write emotive, cascading rock songs, marking them out as ones to watch.
