Bellhouse

“…a Swedish pop artist to watch before the year ends.” - Earmilk

Swedish electro-pop artist Bellhouse releases her majestic new single Coping, out now.

A sparkling alt-pop ballad, Coping feels instantly celestial and reminiscent of the likes of Ella Vos or Nina Nesbitt. Bellhouse combines glitches of electronica with a sweeping piano-led musicality and Bellhouse’s soaring vocals to create a sound that is undeniably ethereal. Talking about Coping, Bellhouse - aka Emma-Lee Andersson - explains, “I think what makes it so powerful is that behind all that suffering and hopelessness is an insight that it’s just temporary, that it’s okay not to be okay and that everything will be alright.”

Bellhouse is not your typical pop star, she is a trained truck driver who would have chosen a career in criminology if it weren’t for her music. After performing in a punk band as an early teen, Bellhouse later turned to pop and has not looked back since. Her previous singles White Dress Black Dress, Mess and Like You Loved Us have received acclaim from the likes of Clash Magazine, Earmilk and Substream Magazine, as well as featuring on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists in Germany, Switzerland and The Nordics.

Coping is out now.
